been looking for a used header. Can someone tell me what the differences are in the fittment of the different years??? Seems RB has 4 or 5 diffferent headers...79-80, 81-83,84-85, manual or auto tranny......? has the 12A changed much over the years or what?????????? Anyone try to fit an ealier header on a late 1st gen?

 

ive put the 83 84 one on my 80. It bolts up to the engine the same, and as long as you use the 83 84 presilencer, they you only have to make a short pipe to reach from the presilencer to the muffler. It wasnst too bad, it just sits a little low under the car. But i got the whole system for 180 so it didnt matter to me!
