[QUOTEI]You've made me reconsider just doing a street port and going for the half bp, but I was wondering how it would work with a stock nikki.[/QUOTE]
I belive you need to upgrade thet intake/exhaust to really get the advantages of a port job like that, when I had my half bridge built I got a 48 IDA, a holley might have been better as its a 4brrl (works better with a half bridge from what I've read)but the weber is so simple I can change everything down to the choke sizes in the weber in 20 min and be back on the road.
Now I have a large steertport and like it a bit better than the 1/2 bridge, it seems to have a little bit less top end but it starts making pretty good power around 2500rpm instead of 4500!

Question- when using a full bridgeport do you have to run one piece apex seals or what can you do?

Gawd, why did you dig up this thread, it's almost embarassing now, lol. As far as street driving a 1/2bp, I will only do it with the RE dual DCD carbs now. Otherwise, it's too much of a pita to drive around town.
