12a blow thru turbo

Im starting a turbo project i have a moded s4 mani and turbo i also have a down pipe and mid pipe waiting for the rest of the exhuast pieces. i got my fmic, bov, and piping, im waiting to get my rising rate fpr and fuel pump. Thinking about making my own carb hat for my dhla 48 can any body help me with that im using rb intake mani and im worried about clearance issues most intakes ive seen from rotary shack are tall mine is alot shorter. i want to know what else im going to need besides a dizzy. and what other work is involved what else should be changed and what not.
Now for the parts.

I also plan on making a strut bar thanks to glazzedhams nice write up. im also making brakets for these
.

You ask about the carb and intake and don't post a pick of it? No pic, no help, lol. Pic preferably of carb/intake mounted on engine, in engine bay.

For the carb hat just get ahold of Robert at RotaryShack. They really aren't that expensive to try and mess around with fabbing up your own unless you've done it before.

Much better. There really isn't any height difference between the RB and the full wrap around intake manis. If you can locate a TII oil fill tube to replace your's with, then simply make a box about the size of your current filter with a cone shaped supply coming out horizontally.

If you don't change out the oil fill tube, then you simply need to route around it.

Talk to Robert at Rotary Shack 680rwhp12a , he likely has a carb hit kicking around and can save you a lot of trouble.

The oil fill tube is a friction fit, new one will simply tap in. On the front cover, just below the MOP, there's a round dimple. Tap that spot for a 1/2" NPT and use a threaded brass barb found in the plumbing section of your hardware store.

i have a carb hat that will fit your dellorto, for cheap!
also you will need to make a jet cover plate for the dellorto since the cover they come with is vented..
also remove the choke assembly and seal up the holes , since its vented too.. use some JB weld
