Alright my 85 base model was sittin gfor about a year...today i drained the gas tank and fuel filter...new plugs and some starting fluid..the bitch didnt start still...so i took my daily driver "saturn" and towed it to about 30 mph...**** started right up and i drove it around..no redlines but the cooling system is shot i think..the add coolent light was on with the beep beep beep noise, it got hot fast and had hardly no power..well faster than my saturn but still...so the next few weeks i will be flushing my coolant system and changing the water pump...thanx for everyones help bringin my 7 back to life...its the greatest day of my life

What's wrong with the water pump? Is it leaking around the front bearing, or are you concerned about a build-up of scale internally? -WG

i think its a water pump b/c when it overheated a year ago one of the radiator hoses burst..i fixed that and it dont seem to be leaking but when i start it up it gets hot fast and when i tryed to add some coolant it started hissing and sputtering really back out of the radiator....it just seems like its not getting any coolant..that would cause such low power too if im not correct
