Unhappy 12a ---> 13b swap what about exaust?

alright... ive been searching and reading posts about putting a 2nd gen 13b into a 1st gen for about 2 hours now and i've found some pretty good info.. but WHAT about the exaust? does no one seem to care about how the exaust is supposed to fit/swap/bolt up? i havent seen exaust mentioned ANYwhere. Well, I'm just curious what I'm going to have to do to fabricate a functional exaust system for a 13b in an '83 GSL. Obviously I cant use the 1st gen exaust on the 13b, or the 2nd gen exaust on the 1st gen... can I? Thanks

The only difference is the header. The rest should fit.

just stock... and CHEAP I just want it all to fit. So, what you are saying is that the 13b header should bolt up to the 1st-gen exaust?

Your exhaust should bolt right up. I even put a second gen header on my car with out changing the exhaust. So I am pretty sure everything works out well. If you going to do the swap, just get a header when you do it. Very nice power gains as you probably already know.
