12A to a 13B

12A to a 13B

I'm rebuilding my rx7 from the ground up. It has a 12a but when i go to buy the rebuilt can i go for a the 13b and it still work out? What is the difference?

Intake and exhaust gaskets come to mind. Just order the 12a kit. You can get the soft seal kit for $100.

when i order a rebuilt engine is that just from the block or what all is included in that normally?

best way is just check the website either mazdatrix.com or racingbeat.com or atkins.com....and if that still doesn't help just call them up...you will get a quicker and more direct answer then waiting around on here for forum members to make post...

Also use the search engine here on the forum...there are many many many swaps from 12a to 13b...
