12a to 13b?

I have a 83 gsl with a blown seal, an the engine isnt starting just turning over. I was wondering if it would be more exspencive to have a pro rebuild the 12a or get a engine from a newer model 13b (turbo). Also if i did how hard would it be to put the engine in/will it fix the 5 speed trans or would i have to get a new trans also?

go with the turbo motor
it wouldnt be that hard to put it in.
and you should change the trans because it would need to be stronger for the turbo.
you can just use the one from a turbo 2 if you get it with the engine
if you dont just go and get one
