Question 12A or 13B

How much HP can you get out of a 12A and keeping it a daily(kick my friends car to) driver? or would it just be better to put in a 13b turbo? what are the pro and con of the switch!

any one from wis?

I had a 12a with a 120hp shot of NO2 on it ... I went through 8 ten pound bottles and it was still running perfict....I tried blowing it...held foot on gas in neutral....never did..still good ,but not in car... but now I have a 13b TT in it ....much better...no more having to push the button

It seems he has a 3rd gen. twin turbo in his FB, I would imagine that would be quite expensive to duplicate.

Search the forum for "Turbo 2 Swap" and you should get a good idea of how much it will cost to swap in a 13B T (I'm guessing $2,000 - $3,000 ish)

What kind of car does your freind have?
12A first gens. can be made into quite quick cars even with stock porting. If your motor is in good condition and you choose the right mods you should see around 150 bhp, which is very crisp in 2400 lb. car

with a 13bt you should be able to kick almost anyone's *** on the road. 13bt's use more fuel than 12a's. if you got the money and the time throw it in.
