What do you think of the power on it? Also, the RPM it will make it at?

Just picking your brain

My wish, power from 4000 and up, limit on 8000

180hp on the cbr600rr itbs would be super nice, but I dont think so...

direct port nitrous if I dont make it there.

As you can see my young padawan, I have a long road ahead of me...

LOL

I still need a ton of parts. With some luck, I will get them at 7stock. Maybe the engine will be finished by january, I will break it in slowly (new bearings, so I gotta take my time) and then I will implement the EFI conversion using the ITBs and a megasquirt

This will take some time....

Looks good, very well done on the porting. Is the centre plate ported similarly? Because I have seen a local 12A full bridge-port with very similar ports putting out 219whp. No jokes I saw the dyno sheet with my own eyes . This was with a weber IDA. So if you port the centre plate like that and open up the exhaust ports nicely I think you could aim higher than 180whp .

Good Luck

Hi

The center plate is ported like this one, without the bridge. So basically the center plate is a nice streetport.

From my recent half-bridge, I would suggest you go ahead and bridge the center iron. I have only 1k miles on mine, and it's back out getiing a full bridge treatment. I honestly wish that I had bridged the center the first time. God luck.

Yes i was going to suggest the same thing. Its not going to drive very much better as a half bridge than a full bridge (if at all) so you may as well go with the full bridge and enjoy the extra power . And if your going EFI you can have decent low load/cruising fuel consumption with pretty good driveability. It just takes some getting used to but I havent found it unbareable. Once you put your foot down you tend to forget all about it

It depends alot on how big the bridge is. You have enough to support a 2 piece apex. If you think about it, the front iron is going to have the long piece of the apex riding on the bridge, and the short piece riding to the un-bridged center. On the rear iron, the short piece of the apex is riding the bridge and the long piece is the un-bridged center. So, what would be the differance if you go ahead and bridge the center? The bridge you have is the same size as mine.

when you go half bridge everyone recomends installing the apex seals on the rear rotor exactly the other way, with the lil piece facing the un-bridged center.
