Id love to pick some up, but Im sorta leery to do this through PMs on nopistons.com
Is there anywhere else I could get a set of these? I think I need something a little heftier than the extend port templates offered elsewhere.
I'll let you guys know when I get them, I'm talking to him now about the templates.

You will never pass emissions with a ported motor.

Man, whats the point of emissions. I'm planning on getting a mild SP for stock parts. I'll find a way to pass

From what I understand, it was rotaryworks, or maybe rotor works(something like that) im germany. They used RB templates. That is what I was told when I bought it, and I know no different.

I don't know how things work in your state, but in wisconsin when you title the car you just have to write on the title that it'll be stored in a county with out emissions regulations. "Registering up north" is usually the first step every one in my area takes to suping up their cars, or a way to avoid the cost of fixing a car that failed emissions. Look into it there may be a way.

Scott at rotarywarehouse.com will probably hook me up with a mild streetport to pass emissions. I just want the motor opened up a little bit.

It's been a while, anyways long story short I got laid off from my job so I had to stop the rebuild since it needed alot more then just new seals, and I parted out the motor. I managed to gather enough cash to buy a low milage JDM 12a motor which supposedly has slightly more agressive porting, but I don't notice any thing. Anyways car's now almost complete, and as for power I'm doing alot of research into turboing the 12a. After many hours of searching I already have my system designed, and the idea is a lower boost (6-10 psi), intercooled, safe, budget setup, that uses parts that are easily fabricated, turbo parts sourced from the TII, and the intercooler and most plumbing comming from common turbo cars. My goal is to stay under $1000 total with a professionally boost prepped carb, when its done I'll post a write up.

I didn't get them, but here's judge ito's contact info ,
forum profile: http://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?showuser=436

last time I talked to him he was selling the templates for $75, but that was back in november, message him through nopistons to get the details, I know he's still active on the forum.
