This morning at 4 30 am while i was still awake working on a paper for one of my classes i got a call from the local police department. they found my car abandoned in some park outside of town. the passenger side window was busted and my wiring is all messed up but i have my car back. apperently the dumbass who stole it busted the window to take the brake off and take it out of gear towed my car to the park where they tried to hot wire it after becoming frustrated at the fact that they suck at hotwiring cars they decided to look under the hood you know what they found a very bare rotor housing cause i didnt put my carb back on yet so of course it wasnt going to start well i guess they decided to leave it there with the hood open so now i have it!!! thanks for everyones help yesturday i was freakin out so thanks alot if anyone knows where i can get a new window for cheap though let me know.

Man your lucky. My sister's Miata was stolen a few years ago. When they found it. about a week later, the people who stole it trashed it. The insurance wound up tottaling it, because the engine, clutch, and some other stuff was tore up.

Heh. A very difficult to execute security system but I suppose that would work if you are gonna park it in a weird place for a few days and don't want someone to drive off with it.

 

thats awsoem you got your car back but an easyer extreamly cheap security system would be just to pull one of the ditributer wires. my uncle told me about it

yeah when i was in high school my battery cable came off on my acura and the doors didnt lock someone walked right in and jacked my whole cd collection and my cd player that was 3 days before i got an ipod i was pissed am pissed actually cuz i lost all my tunes.
