CA **Camden Installed**

here are some pics of my 7" camden installed in my 12a. finally got to drive her yesterday with 3rd and final helping me out big thanks to him. Drove her around the block and was definitely surprised by the power gained, lots of more torque and picks up speed MUCH MUCH faster. performance mods on car are carter fuel pump, holly fpr and charger w/ 650 carb but i can't wait until i put an exhaust system . I still need to clean her up and cut some wires and wipe off some grease to make the engine bay look more presentable. I have a R.E header that is waiting to be put in and still need to gather all my msd ignition parts . Going to make a video for you guys to hear how she sounds .

Don't Don't "DON'T" do the carb hat thing. It doesn't work, the car will fall flat on it's face at 6000 rpm. Been there tried that. get a cheap 9" air filter bases and a K&N filter and filter lid and then you're set. Here's a pic of what i tried and it sucked big time, looked great on apaper and on the engine, but nooooooo good at all. Carb hats do not work well unless they are are force fed (turbo).

and this is what I have now

[IMG][/IMG]

if you want i can take pics of the filter i am suggesting as that is what i use for the spring and fall.

LOL if your talking about me .... My BAD, but hey she's finally running right .

For PDViper77 - What im saying is the carb hat will be connected to some pipes that will be forced in from the front air dam. Hmmmm Maybe i can get a little creative tonight and make a diagram on Microsoft paint and show you to see what you think. But thanks for the give me a heads up appreciate it alot

it does not matter what you try to do its going to choke it out on the top end. cant get any better than standard air cleaner assembly for it. i dont care if you put pipes on the top of the car to route air in. It cant handle it its gonna choke the camden starve it for air and probably heat the ****** beyond belief.

Gary and Codeblue have the most knowledge on this site about the camden. Listen learn from there mistakes.
