Hehehehe...I can't help it...that bad habit is straight from my UPS Preloader days...when you wake up at 0300 hrs and load from a conveyer belt, ya gotta do something to entertain yourself. We had 8 guys (sometimes a girl or two..boy, did it get crazy, then...) on a section loading 24 UPS pkg cars from a belt that didn't stop for anybody...when you're in close contact with other triple A personalities and under a lot of stress, physically and mentally, you form a habit of relieving a lot of that stress by attacking other individuals around you...problem is...they're doing the same thing! Makes for a lot of fun and I only saw two fights ever actually start in ten years of being involved in Preload...the rest of the time is mental one one-up-manship of the highest caliber and witty nicknames is an easy way to get a reaction out of someone. Once someone reacts to you in an emotional way, you've just stripped one of their protective layers away to reveal a glimpse of the true person hiding underneath. We were a pretty sick group. It's everything I have to tune it down now that I'm out of UPS, but I figured this is a pretty tough crowd, so it'd be appreciated...well, maybe not appreciated, but, hell, it is a pretty rough group in this 1stgen corner of the Forum!!

Sorry I didn't catch that sooner...the original rims were the "cross" type alloys...the car had been sitting for so long that all 4 tires had dry rotted...they put armor-all on them for the sale but I had one actually separate at the sidewall as I came home from a parts run! I was literally 150 ft. from my house. I put the Weds on immediately after that. The gold is the rims reflecting the color from my neighbor's house. They are normally silver.

It's a Secret SUPERCHARGER!
Actually, that's not a bad idea. How about this...NOS is now making available it's black high pressure nylon hose for nitrous injection that has always been available before but only in certain kits. You gut the canister, hide both solenoids in the canister and run the nylon tubes inside the big vacuum tube that goes to the carb. Right when it goes under the air cleaner, they pop out, go through the base lid via a grommet to feed one of NOS' "tophat" injectors. I'll stick that on the dyno and show you a documented 45 HP gain from ditching the mechanical fan for sure!! Haha...I can't lose then, bigod!!

Cool ride. What muffler is that?
Your guess is as good as mine. The whole exhaust system looks stock, so it's very possible that it's the factory piece with its chrome tips stripped off by some homey...I've been focused on the engine bay and my hidden goose that didn't stop honking after I disabled the shutter valve...
