I noticed that ad in Hemmings myself. I'd bet it's not a misprint; if the guy invested in an ad in that publication, he's probably serious. Maybe he figures if a 10AE with 6700 miles is worth $29,500, his rare yellow first year '79 is worth about $10,000 more.
These kind of crackpot RX-7 listings are becoming much more common. I wonder if anybody is actually paying anywhere close to these asking prices for any of these super-low mileage cars??

Well, ****. as long as you're paying... Its a good thing to know that spark yellow is, indeed, rare. Although, he doesnt even have the rare almex wheels. Trochoid, you better be asking like 45-50K

I'm praying he gets his PRICE!
We can all laugh, but Back in the Day (mid 70s) when R100s were all over selling for $50 (dead, of course), who would have thought they would be worth $3-5K??? And decent runners:
$10K+??
...and I sold my nicely restored one with new 10a for $400 in '85
;p
Won't make the same mistake twice. This guy has the right idea, just about 15 yrs too soon IMHO
