$250 '83 Rx-7 (just bought her!)

I just got back from driving 3 hours to pick up the new member of our family, an '83 Rx-7! It is gold with a brown (whats left of the) interior. Starts right up, but idles a lil high (1200rpms) but wont be a problem with a lil bit of tuning. The odometer says 183k...but omg does the engine pull strong! I went out for a lil drive and the thing does a little bit of a burnout and pulls hard through all gears!

Im so excited right now and have tons of plans...i will post pics asap...i know most of you will bitch about pics :P

Sweet and enjoy.

I just bought another one too! It like a drug! If I don't stop buying I will be broke, and wife will leave me!
I have a 91,85,85,85,81,83,76
plus my Chevy Duramax, my FJ40 Lndcrusier, my motorcycle, and my wifes Xterra.

I'm going to seek help before I am sleeping in one of those 7's.

I was gonna choke someone when I read your title.

I had a line on a pair of 1983 GSL's this week. One driver, one "parts car"... The parts car needed some fuel system work and it should have been able to run. Both straight bodies with a little rust in the wells. Both were sold right after I left the guys house from checking them out. *shakes fist*

Total asking price for both was $750.

But you're on the wrong coast.

Before she leaves you, I'd suggest investing into a car carrier next.

I can't say right now. It is a project that is on the down low.
It is something that I have always wanted!

I hear ya! That is not a bad idea, but if she left me my new 4 month old duramax crewcab 4x4 truck would be sold too.
