Does he ever drive it? Maybe it's worth $2k to him, but if anyone is willing to give him more for it, he'll give it to them. I guess you could say my SA is for sale for $50,000. Anything more than that, someone can have it. I've had lots of people ask if my car is for sale, but for anything less than 50k, I wouldn't sell it. (ok, maybe a slight exageration)

Mine wasn't driven a lot for about 10 years and i got it for 1800k. It's almost in mint condition, but it has a oil leak in between the rotor housings(from sitting so long) that it will need a rebuild
I paid $500 for 82 GS, its my daily driver now, and $350 for my 82 GSL, which is getting a turbo engine very soon. But if $2000 sounds bad, there is a used car dealership near me that has an 85 SE for the low low price of $10,500. (yeah. that's not a typo)

$10,500 is a rip off. I've seen a 1st gen. on ebay for 25k buy it now with a supercharged v8. It's not a rotary, but it would be fun to drive a supercharged 1st gen. Post some pics of the se if you can 82rex.
i got my 85 gsl-se for 500 the people said the motor was sounding bad they didnt put tranny fluid making the funny sound and that was the only problem and a new cat and passed smog. i still have it and it went 200xxx before motor went, now i have a bridge n and even happier

I moved to help out my grandfather who is ill. San luis Obispo was nice, I miss it, but theres a lot to do here too. Yeah, I'm going down friday night going to k1speed, then to the hilton then to sevenstock, then zoom zoom live on sunday, gonna be a kickass weekend. Thanks, glad ya like it.
I spent 2,100 dollars for my '83 because the body of it was in pristine condition. The interior needed a bit of work, but nothing major. The engine ran strong (up until it developed an oil leak between the housings and irons from sitting for too long).
