$200 dollors for an GSL-SE

I have a chance to buy a 1984 SE. bodys good & straight. inside is clean, the owner says the last time it was driven it got real hot and then parked it. for the last 4-5 years thinking he fried it. Now i know about heat and these cars (engines) He reminds me of the kind of person who would drive a car into the ground. I'm thinking if he were to let me try to get it running to see if he did fry it. but i feel if i were to do that he would change his mind about saleing it to me. C'mon guys i need a push !! can you imagine a running SE for $ 200.00 dollors ?

Buy the SE for $200, tow it away. At your house make it run. If it dont run, swap all the goodies out of it (suspension), or build a turbo car out of it!

Thats what i'd do if i had money.

$200 for even a non-running -SE is an awesome deal I think if the body and interior are good. My friend payed $500 for an -SE with a blown engine, so I think $200 would be great.

Hi there Manntis, I havent seen you around sine I heard about your accident (Not that I hang around the 1st gen forum alot..) Anyway, I just wanted to express my condolences , I know how bad it sucks to lose a car, much less one as irreplacable as yours. Glad you are ok though.

Manntis, i would rather you have that SE, you know.
get back on the horse. Rent a trailer, bring at least
$500.00 dollors and get that sucker. it's not going anywhere fast. I've got a rx7 already. The reason i say $ 500.00 dollors is just to be safe..

It's okay, I don't even know what state it's in - and I've not got a vehicle to hook a trailer to and go get it.

I'm in san diego california, rent something !! Hire a tow
or car hauling service, or rent a u-haul. all paper work
even current non-opp registration. It belongs to my ex girlfriends brother . To go to one of my friends house i have to pass by my ex's. well helping another friend get a 27.000 lb caltrans work truck running, i ran into my ex's brother who i hadn't seen in over 10 years. he seen my car parked and came over and asked who owned the rx7 ? then it hit me.. i said whats up man..
remember me ? he did, then said he had a 84 SE parked
and said if i wanted it,,give him $ 200.00. I didn't know he moved back to his moms.so the SE i've seen turns out to be his. He said coolant got inside the engine
from overheating. I might me able to put together $200.00 dollors. Mel, stop by and we'll go look at it.
it's in paradise hills. it's silver with a grey cloth insides, glass roof,SE wheels,..

this guy from the track bought an 85 GSLSE for $200 bucks also. the guy who owned it before him took the car to a local mechanic when it was acting up and was told he needed a new engine. Phil bought it and messed with some **** in his garage (cannot remember what actually was wrong), and it runs great. perfect exterior and interior. and fairly low miles also.

$200 for the car, plus $1,200 shipping to you in S'toon, plus auto tarrif and broker's fees at the border, and suddenly it's not that cheap of an SE Matt.
