Idler arm as mentioned - it likely has bad bushings if you did not address them. Some people go to a bearing based unit (made by Moog I believe).

Since your car is going left and right - sounds like you have a slop problem in the front end somewhere... This could be the above mentioned idler, it could be you need to adjust the backlash in your steering box, both can cause the "wonder" steer.

Once you get that fixed, you may want to add more caster to the front end to help it drive straight

If the car is still pulling, then it has to be an alignement issue (unless you have a brake dragging). How well do you trust the people that did the work on it? I would go back to them and complain...

That is not true.

Agreed. Toe out will tend to have straight line instability. You should double check they are set with a bit of toe in.

what does (toe in) (cast) and (backlash in your steering box) mean.

Toe in is the relative angle (sometimes measure in .1's of inches) of the tires relative to each other when looking from straight ahead toward the front of the car. Toe in means the front of the tires are closer to each other than the back of the tires. Toe out is the other way, back is closer than the front. Tie rods are used to adjust this angle.

Steering box backlash is a means of referring to the slop between two geared elements in the steering unit - it can be adjusted quite easily, but if you are asking this question - please read more as you can do more harm than good!

Best Wishes
