#$@*n Oil control ring!! now please help me choose a 13B
Turns out the excessive ammounts of blue smoke and very rough running of my engine was because an oil control ring decided to pop worst think is the motor had only 45,000km on it and was made of mostly new components.
Now i'm just gonna do a 13B swap, but i'm not sure (4port/ 6port/ lightweight, high compression rotor)????which one will work best in the application im goin with.
It's gonna be using the Weber 45DCOE off my 12A with the adapter plate so it'll fit on the 13B, RB Headers with the full exhaust, and MSD ignition....... so my question is should I use a GSL-SE block, a 86-88, or the 89-92.
I can get the SE oilpan and frontcover so don't worry about taking that into consideration if one of the other engines will work better.
p.s. If anybody wants a practically new minus a crappy oil control ring 12A with 45,000km/28,000mi to rebuild, or my RB 12A 84-85 Manual Trans. header make me an offer at fredoon@hotmail.com
