about the best ive found so far is a edelbrock 500cfm with a little tweekin it does pretty good!!

Why EdelBrock hasnt made a 700cfm with super small primaries for turbo models i'll never know!!

Also when you buy a Mercury Cougar XR-7 and switch the nameplate to....you guess it! RX-7

That's doubly stupid since Holley has long made a 390-cfm 4-barrel. Every Holley fan knows about it.

Because of the Gm patents on the QuadraJet having tiny primaries. Holley, Carter, and maybe Nikki bought righrs, gut Edelbrock didn't gef th e rights from Carter.
The Edelbrock is the better daily driver carb, but the Holleys give you the choice of center-hung or side-hung floats, so the cornering issue is easier to tune out that way, which is more of a bandage than a proper fix. A side-hung Holley turned 90* would be great for a cornering car with no power, such as a non-turbo Rotary.
