Would you guys buys this GSL SE?
I have a chance to get an 84 GSL SE that had a carbed 12a swapped in. It has a body kit and riced out wing but it looks good. The owner said they just put in the 12A in from a wrecked running car but did not finish the install... the motor mounts werent tightened down... the starter had yet to be put in... no header... no bat...
It has leather seats and a few small rust spots on the sunroof. It has the FMOC and has the rims off of a second gen and an electric fan.
I pulled the plugs and heard 1 strong PSHHH and 2 weaker ones. The engine didnt want to turn at first but I got a socket for the front pulley and turned it but it was hard getting started then it got stuck and I moved it back a bit and turned it again and it rotated pretty good.
700$ dropped off to my house... What do you guys think?
No lock in the rear hatch, no cowl around the steering column...
My wifes giving me sh?t that I shouldnt spend the money... but I need some other unbiased input. Let me know. Thanks....

$700, I guess that ain't bad. But, I'm disappointed that they decided to drop a carb into a trim level that had EFI. (I think all -SE's had EFI but I could be wrong. Someone correct me if I am.) Personally, I myself would've kept looking for something more worth my money. Some of the things you listed do seem fair for the price, altho $500 would've been more legit. What do you plan on doing with this car anyways?
