How do you guys like the sunroof?

Hey Guys! As you can tell this is the very first time I've posted so this is a sort of test as well. Anyways, how do you guys feel about the rising sun sunroof? It was a plan I wanted to do for a while so when my cousin came home from the Air Force for a break he wanted something to do, so he painted it on! I gave him an accurate picture of the flag but he still didn't give it enough stripes! LOL Either wat it still came out pretty well. What do you guys think?

I think it would look pretty cool if it matched the entire car.

The paint on the car is going to be red and white. Something like this...
This isn't my car but this is the paint scheme I wanted to go for. I got this picture from google, this car was done by the Gunn auto tech school.

the roof itself looks great....

I need to see the whole package when it is done. Right now the roof alone by itself looks kinda cool. I just dont know how it will look on your finished ride.

keep us updated!

as people had said it would look good if it matched the paint scheme. But even if you wanted a similar design but keeping your car color, you could change the flag colors to like a silver and white or something. or white and black mebes

just a lateral thot.

I felt that this would be a good response to those annoying rebel flags that rednecks everywhere put on their cars and trucks. this is also a representation of where these rotary rockets come from!

One of these would look better.

I believe hes referring to the RX-7, not the rotary engine in general.

Me and my cousin Thought about that too but it was too plain. We thought about dividing the suroof in half corner to corner and making half the roof the rising sun and the other half the german flag but the rising sun in my opinion is much cooler. My cousin (the little brother of my cousin who painted the flag) has a 68 beetle and was going to paint the German flag on his roof.
Sure, the wankel engine might be a German design but who was it that perfected and used it to their advantage and gave us the glory we know today as the rotary. Without Mazda and their adoption of the engine who knows what we all would be driving right now?
CIVICS!!!! I hope not!
Another idea I had was to put the old "M" Mazda symbol in the middle of the sun in red. Also I want to make my own badge out of billet aluminum (thin as possible) In the shape of a rotor with the rising sun in the middle of the circle.

While I'm thinking of it, while the RX was in the back yard a man came up to the house and asked "What you guys doing with the Porsche" I just smiled at him and say "dude, thats my 7"

Looks good. Maybe put a pic of a rotor where the red dot is? I like it though.

I just tried out my sunroof for the first time today. I like it a lot. I removed it and cleaned under it also.

Neat Idea. Maybe get a glass top, and do a glasscape on it.
