Its been > 3 years since it ran well and had both inspection and reg up to date. Austin still does emmissions testing for cars <25 years old so this was my last year for that nonsense. I ended up going a total of ~150 miles and 8 inspection places before I got someone to look at it and pass it. I knew of a few places that I could pay to play but I wanted to try it the cheap way first and it worked out. Its a nice feeling now to pull up next to a cop car and not having to hide my stickers!

Congrats... antique tags in VA solve all inspection problems :o) not that I have any reason to not pass. just makes life easy.

 

I totally thought this was going to be about statutory laws.
