And I can't believe a pro like Mike lost $1000 Australian dollars on the deal. Something is fishy, how could he get it so wrong??????

I missed it, I hope they replay it. I saw a trailer about it the other night and realized I'd missed
that episode.

Car was an automatic that he paid way too much for (even by aus standards) then it practically needed a full respspray and he agreed to have someone else sell it for him while he followed up on moving his escort back to the uk for sale. WD is a weird kind of show....the original version anyway. The profits Mike turns (if any) hardly warrant all the work put into the cars by poor ole Ed the tall man. They bill it as "keeping another classic on the road" but any other dealer would be out of business by now. I guess Discovery Channel pays pretty well because they have been doing this show a pretty long time.

Yeah, the "profit" they make on the cars is clearly not what's keeping the show afloat lol. Besides entertaining (Mike is a toolbag lol) I think the show is suppose to be an inspiration to show that you could do this at home etc, which is why the time Ed spends isn't factored into the cost.

That FB was in decent shape, but Red with a red interior and automatic? Yuck.
