i just noticed this too.. interesting..
no notifications but it still says private message on the top for me. also i noticed the pictures in the index page and profiles are different.

The software that runs this forum was updated today to v 3.7.
Private messages are still private. In addition, you can leave public messages on user's profile pages now. You can also upload a photo album and join social groups. I expect an official announcement in the next couple days. There is still a few bugs to work out.

Somewhere along the way, my sigpic apparently went "byebye..." logged in today, and my sig started with [sigpic][/sigpic], and the tool for uploading the sig pic has apparently gone away.

If not, let me know. I can host your sig picture and then you can just use the image tags in your signature to display it.

Even the options to upload it are no longer visible to me... no doubt because my signature privileges now read:

DD and Michael, I think Stu was poking around looking for my privates and he deleted your pm's and sigs by accident.
Once you figure out where to find things in "the new look" all seems to be well. Although I'm still not sure what to do with these new friends I've got.
