i priced it off of rareness and mileage. car is perfect and pretty quick. I think its a fair price but looks like i'll have to wait for some one who is specificly looking for this?

It is the end of the year after all. Most people are pretty broke after buying things for the holidays, and lets not forget for themselves. Just give it time, you have it listed on any other forums? Beautiful car by the way, would be a great car to own.

Where else did you list it? Autotrader, Craigslist, Ebay motors etc?

It looks like a nice ride.

You want the truth? For starters, value or not, it's on the high side of 1st gen pricing for us tightasses that own 1st gens. While the 12AT may be rare, for that kind of money, many would prefer to build thier own. You need to post pics in the thread itself, not link them. The second set of links say page not found and personally, if I have to sign up for anything to view pics, I won't. You need a larger selection of pics, better pics, interior and exterior shots, underbody shots, wider shots that show the entire car and detail shots that show the extras that justify the higher than average asking price. You also need to include more written detail

The flat black paint, smoked tail lights, stripes and newer Mazda logo scream rice to me, which infers young owner and that the car has probably been abused. Don't take it personally, especially if you haven't seen pics of my widebody. I'm guilty of the flat black paint and smoked tails too. You're also missing the fan shroud.

There is a 24 hour rule for bumping for threads, You've bumped your thread how many times today? To me, that implys you're desperate to sell and I'd be more than happy to wait you out for a lower price if I was looking to buy this car. Cars don't always sell quickly. Between the holiday time of the year, the uniqueness of your car and the asking price, it will take much longer to sell than a stock 1st gen would.

Not trying to bag on you or your car as I have nothing against either You asked for opinions, this is mine and how I would feel if I was looking at this car to purchase. Good luck with the sale.

Pretty well said....spot on

Timing is bad right now...bad for housing, bad for jobs...bad for buying a modded RX7 for 4k

and you are right...this car is done up to a specific niche few. Rotaries alone are niche...now take it 3 steps even more niche for a 12A turbo from Japan. You have an even SMALLER audience interested in that car....so be patient it will and should go to someone that wants that rarity and will appreciate it. Another option is go to car meets...or local car shows or cruises. Have a for sale sign with you...and have at it!

Thanks guys !! as for the car being beaten it hasnt I just wanted to make an aggressive looking 1st gen as they really are not that aggressive looking. HOWEVER I do see the point. By the way Trochoid you have seen this car before paint. I almost traded some guy in FL for it but he backed out. he said some guy drove by his house and offered him some insane amount of money for his blown T-2. Good for him I suppose. Do you remember?

The car does look sweet. I would polish it up some more. I am not a pro ebay motors guy at all. Just saying for "special" cars people with a lot of cash window browse it...

I use autotrader myself. It's been around a long time and you get paper magazine and web.

ebay is not usually going to fetch the price you are looking for. Especially in this season

I look for quality. Having the engine bay a different color gives the impression that the paint job was not thought out. This is especially true for less desirable colors like brown. Also, the paint scheme on the exterior could also be part of the problem. If it where my car, I would pull the engine and re do the paint in one color. Preferably not brown. Not tring to be harsh, just trying to give an honest view.
