2002 Sunfire 4 door I hate it, it handles like a brick sitting on a helium balloon suspension. The only thing I like is the sort of torquey 2.2 and that I was smart enough to get a 5 spd. The sad thing is it costs about 4 times as much as my FB, and I only drive it about 3-4 months out of the year. Also drive a 2004 Freightliner Columbia. Also a POS but handles better than the Sunfire.

My 7 is my DD right now. I also have a '74 REPU that isn't currently driving due to a pinky-sized hole in one of the rear tires.

My daily drivers are 2005 Dodge SRT-4, 1984 Dodge D150 (tow daddy), 2000 Jeep Cherokee, and a 1994 Mazda MX-6. One day I am going to fit a motorcycle in there.

Uhhh I accidentally typed the number six when I was making my username way back then. It looked and sounded cool so I just kept it and been using it ever since.

2007. I get faster lap time around the track with the speed 3 than my FB (stock carb and motor, not the one in sig).

Has anyone looked at or driven the new CX7? The commercial says "sports inspired".

Too bad it's not rotary powered

Hum me wonders if that steering wheel would fit the fb? Junk yard dive time..

My DD is a 79 S RX-7 with just under 70K miles on it. RB exhaust(minus presilencer), RB air box, FB elctronic dizzy, rats nest removed, 4-Speed manual, soon to have direct fire ignition and a Sterling will find it's way on eventually.
I also occasionally drive my girlfriend's 99 Kia Sophia. It's a 5-Speed and awesome on gas.
Sometimes I drive my dad's 07 Ford Ranger 4WD 4.0L V-6 5-Speed. VERY nice truck. Serius Satellite radio is awesome LOL.
Then there's my former DD, my 83 S RX-7 that is parked in the backyard with the motor in my basement awaiting rebuild. That had the RB air box that now resides on the SA, as well as the RB muffler, RB HD Street/Strip clutch, Eibach springs. Can't wait to get her back up and running. As you can see we have no automatics in this household and I love it LOL

EDIT: I've driven the CX-7 and I didn't care for it. It has the same motor as the Mazdaspeed 6 but with more weight it doesn't feel as good. I thought it was rather uncomfortable and just bland really. The Mazdaspeed 6 on the other hand, don't drive it if you can't afford it because you will drive off the lot as the new owner

You know, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it did. I've been told that the new MX-5, at least, uses the same steering wheel spline as the RX-4, REPU, SA/FB, GLC/323, and I'm sure others as well. I'm guessing Mazda uses that spline for all their cars.

It pulls my boat and it's comfortable. Besides I have 3 cars and am retired? What else do I need? I don't have to commute to work. The exploder is being replaced by 2007-9 Tacoma 4x4 xtracab anyway in bout year and half. And yes the Ford behind it Runs.

I drive a 99 Tacoma 4x4 extra cab trd during the week and the 84 rx weekends. Up until a month ago I drove a 04 tacoma but some dork t-boned me and the insurance was only enough to buy a 99. Not to get off thread but the insurance industry sucks, they insure you for everything but a claim.

Yes I was serious. I was wondering because the 08's have the engine mount bolts fixed, as some of the 07's were recalled. Buddy of mine has his engine literally drop from the back and ripping out most his wiring.

Damn what engine did he have? Well if they broke I am sure Toyota would honor it since 07 would be under warranty. I don't really need a 4x4 except to get down to PINS (Padre Island north) for some fishin.

Oh yea I can't wait to see someone put a 13b into one of the CX7's lol. Throw away the piston crap...

Crossover X7... Boy they must be confident to use the X7.. I am temped to test drive it just for grins.

^^ That was on a Mazdaspeed 3, not a Toyota. Jeezus, I think djessence said that because he said the year when he posted it, unless he ninja edited it before you saw it

I almost picked up one of the 07 speed3's. Very fast cars, but I couldn't justify the payments let alone the insurance. That's why I've got the '98 328i and no car payments ftw...

I drive the most ghetto beat up 94 Mazda Protege EVER! The High School Girl who owned it before me totaled it twice, and the front head light is held in with some rope. Both front panels are beat to Sh*t, and it's muffler rattles something fierce until it's warmed up. Did I mention that the left turn signal in the front is just a bulb that hangs out the side? Her name is Betty and she gets me where I need to go, gets about 30 MPG highway, and is soooooo slow. But dammit if she slides into a pole on the ice, I won't be too upset.
