went to the junk yard yesturday =(






its to bad this junk yard does not allow complete car purchase the body was not bad and the interior was pretty much complete. rear bins seats dash carpet all there engine bay also complete.

looks like a regular day at the wreckers, i'm just surprised they didn't smash any of the sides with the fork lift, they seem to love to play pinball with the older cars.

i wish i could find something like that at my salvage yards. i've only seen 1 rx7 in ours and it was an fc. no motor,no trans,no nothing just a wrecked empty shell.

It's all in the luck an timing. I raped a GSLSE at the local pick'n'pull one day. Got a glass sunroof, full exhaust (rb header, presilencer and aftermarket stainless steel muffler), pumpkin for my new gears and a few little interior pieces all for $130. Sold the sunroof for $200 within a week.

sad to see that nice 84-85 GS just sitting in the boneyard waiting to be crushed. i've got a rusty 7 they can have intsead..

ive seen better in the yunkyard.. didn't grab any pics, but it was a 70k 1980 model, interior was PERFECT. the rest was complete, it looked like it had been parked under a tree for a while

Central California has a lot of first gens at the boneyard. Good climate and no huge cities to wreck them up. But they are becoming less common, just like all the other good old 80's cars.

I'm guessing it's a CFC car, top rad hose is cut and I bet there's no oil in it. Poor thing died a horrible death...
