Thumbs up Weaksauce Fall Photoshoot

Well... it's October in Wisconsin. Time to get the rig packed away to hibernate through the winter. Saturday was a really nice day, and even though I had to work that night, I decided to skip some sleep and head to the park to take some pics.

Sorry about the crappy quality- I don't have a digital camera, so they're all scanned (and cropped) actual photos.

So I still have lots to do! This winter I'd like to get Diamond Racing wheels, new seats and carpet, redo the exhaust, clean the engine bay, and upgrade the stereo a little (new speakers, headunit, maybe an amp + a pair of subs).

Bodywork, although needed, is low on the priority list.

And yes, I get away with that exhaust. Header, pipe, cannon. No muffler, no cat. Loud, cheap.

It's an eBay special, $20 lol

And there are tons and tons of imperfections. Any body man can tell you, black is the WORST color for hiding them. If my paint was still glossy, you'd see every ding and dent.

really? i've always seen different, of course if they scratch the paint is kinda hard to hide that anyways but otherwise dents unless you're under direct sunshine? lol plus black just looks a bit more slick for some reason lol.

so how's that can holding up? people here talk **** about them all the time that they'll melt with the rotary heat and what not, i've had a cheap ebay can in mine for like 3 years now and it is just great, of course it's louder than any car so i have to keep the silencer on it lol

Black is the worst possible color for anything. I love black cars, but know i would never buy one cuz its never clean or perfect. Dark gray/silver/white cars hide a ton of stuff. Probably due to the fact that most primers are grey or white as well.

Clean looking car though, pretty weird exhaust.

Thanks guys.

I plan to redo the exhaust this winter adding a real muffler after the header. It's too loud. The can has handled it just fine though, it's a little louder than when it was new, but it seems like it varies every day how loud it is lol. I also want to straighten it up, since right now it exits crooked. Even though it hangs low, I've never really scraped it except twice when entering STEEP parking lot entrances.

Yes, it's an FB front bumper... the PO wrapped the car around a fire hydrant (hence the bent air dam) and slapped the FB bumper on it. I'd love to change it back but have more important fish to fry with the car for now. Before I do the bodywork I'll swap it back to an FB bumper.

The muffler would look really good if it were mounted forward a few inches.

Yeah I'm gonna fix that too when I redo the whole shebang.

I originally wasn't going to put the cannon on it, it was kind of an afterthought, which is why it sticks out so far.
