I have a 13b 6 port motor and a 79 SA tranny.

My clutch kit is Exedy MZc529 and MZD005U, it also came with a fortune cookie fortune that said "You will be Successful in Everything" and pilot bearing and tool. Yeah no joke about that. I bought it through the dealership I worked for and I'm about to use it (I always buy spare parts).

Do I have the right clutch and pressure plate? After reading OOT's thread I started to question what I'm doing. Since, if one of my dudes from rx7club has questions then maybe I don't know everything I think I do.

remember that there's a difference in clutches between 79-82 and 83-85. this has to do with the step in the flywheel and the guide pin location on the flywheel. post a pic for better results.

 

My attention span for internet forums has gone down soooo much since I first came here.

I'm sure with the google and rx7club I'll just figure it out. Worst case scenario if I break something I know how to contact Pete and I'm the only RX7club kid that doesn't **** him off as much as I think I normally do.
