Vinyl wrap FB

Has anyone here had their FB wrapped or done it then selves? I’m contemplating wrap or paint (either I’ll do myself) and trying to figure out how I would seam the back of the car.

There aren’t any body lines to break the pieces into sections so I’m looking for ideas on how to accomplish this.

Unless you're going for some crazy pattern design, just paint it. Looks like your bodywork is most of the way there, anyway... OR,... WIDEBODY CONVERSION!

the body and paint work was prepped by the previous owner so if I paint it I have to strip it to metal and redo it all.

also this has to be done in my home garage and I think my new neighbor might not like the smell of primer, paint, and clear 😂

You can use low VOC water based automotive paint.

i looked into it for my car, and here is how it shook out.
the neighbor/fumes thing is a thing, and people might object to paint, but like wrap is fine. plus you don't need the tools, compressor, paint gun, etc
cost was about the same, wrap isn't cheap.
you need to do bodywork for both, wrap doesn't hide anything
they both age, the wrap maybe fades more quickly. wrap also has like a grain to it, so you need to make sure it all goes the same direction

so i think i decided to paint the thing, but i guess we'll see what happens when i actually go to do it

The issue I see with wrap is that if you need to repair it, your doing a pretty big area because a patch wouldn't look good. Both are a learned skill that comes with practice.
