Video from July 3rd/4th autocross
I posted this in the race thread, but figured nobody is looking there so I'm giving it its own thread.
The races went great, the Sumitomos are finally hooking up for me now that they are broken in a bit. Took 1st place in CSP both days.
There is also a shot of a very nice RX3 in this video. Gutted, street ported, Hoosiers, and lots of other very nice work done to it. Its not really supposed to be in my class, but he's not beating me and he's a friend, so I don't really care too much.
Anyway, here's the video:

Thanks man
It was pretty rough in some sections, the worst area was the high speed sweeping left hander in the middle of the course. You can see where the camera ends up changing position slightly as I went through there.
The final results have been posted, and I was only 2.7 seconds slower than the fastest time. I had a 59.4 and he had a 56.7
Do you think that a set of Hoosiers is would be able to make up that difference, considering what I'm currently running (sumitomos)?

ABSOLUTELY!!!
The Sumi's are great tires of course, but they might as well be snow tires compared to a set slicks. Get them and start owning everyone at the races. A new set of Hoosier R1's should last you the season at least and maybe into the next if your gentle on them.

Yeah, these are quickly moving up my list of needs.
We have a race coming up on Labor Day, an autocross that will take place on a very nice race track. Very cool getting to drive this track, as we haven't been able to use it for a few years since somone messed up their prelude by putting it into the wall. I'll have to see if I can grab a set before that event, if not sooner.
Also, we've got another two day event in Lansing, I think it's like August 14th & 15th.
