IN UH OH, looks like I found a 7 again

Well unfortunately (?) I am gonna have to take 2 of them at once with the deal. Both GSL-SE's. 1 with bad engine, and 2nd has bad trans (clutch). Good bodies with misc problems associated with age and sitting for 2 years. Anyways, looks like there might be some 13b part available and I have found a place to put this 5.0 LX drivetrain Wish me luck

Sorry, I can't wish you luck if you plan on doing a 5.0 swap in one of them. I might, but only if you get one of them running as a 7 between the 2.

Agreed, one a v8 and one a rotary. That's the only way to gain respect here. lol

Rather do that, its much easier. But the rebuild parts for a rotary is expensive as hell. I haven't check what a rebuild kit costs lately. But with a car this old, you know the rotor housings are shot, and with the one with bad engine, you know theres a big ole groove in there where the apex seal dug the **** out of the rotor and the housing. I have the power train for a 5.0 here. So its gonna be a no brainer there, look at it this way. That will be 2 -SE's still on the road. These were going to the crusher.

Its been a while since I have been here, and I forget too many things. Maybe too much beer, I dunno. But he said one of them the motor was overheated. What does that mean? Could be anything from bad water jacket to warped rotor housing and locked up engine, right?

I really dont need both cars, I only want one. But I guess I will have to get both since its a package deal.

instead of rebuilding the current engine, why dont you just buy a used engine from another forum member and keep both rotary.. i hate like hell to see a V8 in a 7.
