trying to explore my options and could use some knoledge!!

trying to further upgrade my 12a fb. aluminum radiator options anyone? and as far as webber/holley i know im going with racing beat but do you guys suggest one over the other whats the cons and pros for both? and any other upgrades or info would help me a whole bunch, all your knowledge has helped me up to this point just need that final push. also contemplating rims seem to be kind of difficult finding ones that fit.

Here's some help for you. Guys on the forum here just talked about aluminum radiators and said that this was a good one
EBAY RADIATOR

Don't know much about carbs, sorry there.

I am removing my rats nest, putting an S4 alternator in, relocating my battery, getting a header, doing a custom exhaust, going to an electric radiator fan, front mount oil cooler, and that's just the start

Rims are hard to find. If you get your hands on a set you'll be lucky. 4x110 if you're S GS or GSL and 4x114.3 if you're GSL-SE for bolt patterns. I am actually looking into an awesome-looking set with tires for $500. Best deal I will find in the next decade I think.

Hope this helped.

If you have a front mount oil cooler go with the shorty style rad from the 79-82 FB. Webers and Holleys are great carbs but both have their pros and cons. I have both the Holley and the Weber kits from Racing Beat and to this day my favorite carb is a modded Nikki. Good luck in your with you project!

Others have answered on the radiator question, so i wont mess with that one. Carbwise i will throw ya a few pointers, as i have debated the same thing you are doing "if" i ever have to swap to an aftermarket carb. I would go with the Holley. reason being, even though RB mods it to work on a rotary, its still a Holley, and they are plentiful, with basic parts (gaskets/jets/etc) available at any good auto parts store, and way more familiar than a weber to your friendly neighborhood hot rod mechanic. From my understanding as well, the Holley is a bit more "streetable" than the weber, although being a Holley, you will still have to plan on tweaking it from time to time to keep it running good. Hope this helps....
