NC Thinking of adding an oil temp gauge - which adaptor

Hello all, I've been thinking of adding an oil temperature gauge for some time now but the $74 price on the Racing Beat Oil Presssure /Temperature Sensor Adapter has kept me away from doing it. Today I found an Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter from GlowShift which was priced about $45 less.

I trust Racing Beat, but I don't know anything of Glow Shift. Does anyone had any experience using the Glow Shift product on first gen beehive coolers?

Using either brand, did you see any change in oil pressure readings at the stock gauge (using identical filters before/after)?

Is it a requirement to use both fittings or can I just plug one and use the factory gauge for pressure?
