Just picked up a 5 speed manual from an 80’ rx7 to swap out my 4 speed manual on my 79’. Going to order the exedy clutch kit from mazdatrix as well as the transmission mount, front and rear seal, and slave cylinder. The 5 speed doesn’t have a reverse switch on it, would my 4 speed transmission reverse switch work on the 5 speed transmission I picked up? Thanks!
I've don't have any 1st hand knowledge of the 4 speed. Assume reverse is the same as the 5 speed (down and to the right)?
I'd think the switch location and operation would be the same.
