Don't buy any of them they don't work unless the are braced against the fire wall. like the racing beat one

for springs...i would go rb...and you might as well go with new shocks...check racing beat for a lot of suspension parts...i really wouldn't lower the car more than an inch..unless ur gonna use it for track purposes...our car is already low..

I bought one of those before and they are ****! you have to customize it to fit and even then if you have the stock blue air cleaner it will not clear it!

they make a huge difference weather or not they attach at the fire wall

I have driven with nothing then put my cusco adj strut tower brace on and it was a world of difference.

I know many people argue this but I'm yet to be convinced a tube between the upper suspension mounting points can improve stiffness on a car that has any rubber or even poly bushings in it, they have to flex a long way to the end of their range before the upper gets any stress.

Now if you have spherical bearings and eliminate the bushings yes they can work, but by then you would have a roll-cage which makes the point moot.

I suggest running to car on a track with and without them comparing times otherwise it is just weight and an obstruction under the hood. IMHO

that would be one way to tell if it works

another way, which I tested was to take my local 270 degree radius on ramp over 10mph faster then I ever could with out it. This would equate to a much faster lap time once you factor in 7-8 more turns you could take 10mph faster.

Not very scientific, weather, road surface, a street sweeper, tires, tire pressure, shocks any of several factors could contribute to that.

I raced that turn everyday for the last 4 years with varying levels of mods in every imaginable weather and temp possible. that on ramp is my testing grounds for every mod I make. the left side tires have 1/2 the tread of the rights for this exact reason.

I threw the strut tower bar on and the car was much more stable and faster.

sorry I did not use a g tech pro to record the speed and handling difference, if I only knew I would be interrogated 1.5 years later by a nay sayer.

No need to get antsy, I just doubt they are much more than a sales bonanza. This is my opinion only and I would love to see some actual controlled environment testing. I am more than willing to accept they work if it can be shown with testing.

Some people are unwilling to accept the fact that something they spent money on isnt a good idea. The "butt dyno" and or "butt G timer" can be very convincing sometimes.

Thats not to say it most certainly does not work, but after thinking about it I have to cast great doubt on if it does or not.

One thing to add I took my strut bars off and they are a four point RE bar. I took varying corners with and without, and then with again.

I have to say that I felt no negligable difference...

Oh Steve,
I took my rear bar off like you suggested, I love it!
