springs

hey guys... my 85 gs had rota rb's on it, i believe these are 2.5 inch drop springs from re speed.. how do you think they would look on my car.. i believe it has newer shocks and struts on it..http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=236oh and what spring rate should i get.

those are coilover springs and require the sleeves

King springs. I'm probably going to end up going with some of their springs. Got to get a hold of them first..

just use the coilovers, its a little bit more money up front, but its an awesome deal, and you can lower your car to almost any height you want

... and you get to select the spring rates that you want, which is a huge bonus.

With stock type lowering springs, you are stuck with whatever rate they build them at, which is not always (actually, rarely) ideal. Also, a lot of "lowering" springs actually end up raising the car higher than it was because the original springs have sagged so much over the years.

If you go with coilovers, you are guaranteed to get exactly the height and ride that you are looking for.
