I thought about that for a long while before i did it.... it goes back to an issue that i had with another car. I spent 20 years trying to locate one of my fathers old cars only to find out that it was destroyed. Therefore I felt that it was important to list the ones that I knew I had scrapped out.

I do want everyone to know that if there is a vin with my name listed and it says scrapped I am the one that took it to the crusher, it does not account for the hundreds that I have seen in the salvage yards over the years. I just hope that some of this information is helpful to others.

I used to own a 1980 LS in white that I am trying to locate. The VIN is SA22C-627825. Any help finding it would be appreciated.

I was searching through the Parts fiche this morning and saw the VIN range for the '79 LIMITED almex rims .

VIN range is 542637 - 552248

I would expect these represent the first and last production numbers of the Limited . Hopefully one these shows up on the board one day ..... that would have the special - special edition status

1980 X Anniversary (possible LS)

I just unearthed this from a winery, and a friend and now here it sits in my driveway.

I think its an LS, but only because Im a newb, and from what I've read, the LS' had leather interior, (which this does under the seat covers). Here are some pictures.

Serial # SA22C 605521

I pulled the seat cover off one, and found leather sides with cloth inserts... so maybe not, although Im not sure... I'll shoot some interior pics but here's what I've got now...

.

These were all shot with the covers still on... Until I'm sure there are no leaks, Im not going to remove them permanently..

On a posative note.. it's raining like hell so I guess I"ll find out soon

oh and can anyone please tell me what the switches next to the choke are for? My guess is going to be power mirrors?

Those my Marine friend are for the power mirrors, and yours is not an LS but a seemingly original 1980 10th Anniversary. that is the original factory radio and tape deck. This one seems to be a very untouched original more pictures would be nice but i am confident that it is an anniversary edition

I've never seen a set of wheels like those on that AE. Kind of looks like a modified GS wheel. Are those OEM?

hi, i recently acquired from an older gentleman what used to be an aurora white LS. it has the original interior, but was painted british racing green, and at some point he got rid of the super hard to find wheels and put 13" steelies on so he could use these hideous wire hubcaps. other than that the car is entirely original and only has about 26000 original miles on the odo. i will post pictures next week as i am currently out of town.

EDIT: also, does anybody know where i could acquire the ls badges that went on the car? those were missing as well.
