i know a lot of people dont like the louvered hoods, i love them!! i hate rear glass louvers though

Those are watanabe's. Sweet wheels. There's also a 2 piece version, or maybe it's 3 piece. Watanabe RS-8

 

The multi-piece version was originally made by SSR (speed star racing) in very limited quantities. SSR sold the molds to RS-Watanabe and they manufactured them for several years. I have a staggered set of the original SSR productions. I don't want to clutter up this thread but if you want more info or a pic shoot me a PM.

 

i believe they sell it. that style of hood is produced by ERC and i'm pretty sure they have a carbon one as well

added CF gurney flap and painted it black car is dirty as hell right now. with the added flap hood shake above 90mph is gone


p.s. some of those cool glass Jay dee emm hoods still use the stock hoods underbraceing which covers up 90% of the vents which makes the purely useless cosmetic crapola.

I don't mind 'real' louvers when done tastefully, but those glue-on sausage-looking things in the 2nd and 4th pics, to me, just look stupid as hell.

Look like someone left a couple packs of hotdogs laying on the hood.
