I just purchased a (true) short shifter from Trochoid (being made) and have painted up my interior to match the Redline Italian shifter boot and e-brake boot I still have in my closet.

Pics of the before and after. Keep in mind, this is with a stock shifter, boot, and e-brake handle stuff. But, I at least figured I'd put the new painted pieces in.

Finished the stainless steel braided fuel lines, made and installed stainless steel vacuum lines, installed mustang center caps for the CCW's and some other minor odds and ends.

No pics, but sandblasted the rest of my front suspenion for the 13bt build. Will be finishing the front big brake install and coil over install this weekend and hopefully it'll be back on the ground for the first time in over a month....
Also bought myself a FC to play around with in the snow... but its not running; just what i need another project!

I'm tearing down the 12A to rebuild it for my FB. It's just been slow going though, trying to find motivation. It's just been cold and rainy everytime I have any time to work on it so motivation goes bye bye LOL. That and constantly having to do little **** on my FC!

Took my 85 GSL SE on a little road trip - SF Bay area to Phoenix and back (750 miles going, 1,000 miles back) . RX7 Ran like a champ! I've had the car since Thanksgiving and have been working like a dog to fix the little things - new oil cooler lines, new clutch master/slave cylinder, new air cleaner, new oil filter, new fuel filter, new fluids coolant/oil/transmission/differential, etc.. The only new problem is the brake master cylinder started leaking (new one on order).

Took the scenic root (I5/Bakersfield/Kingman/Surprise) and had a great drive. The only surprise was on the way home. High winds closed the road between Barstow and Bakersfield, so we took a "little" detour through Reno. This made for a very long day, with some snow/ice (had to buy chains in south of Mammoth Lakes area), but the car ran like a scalded dog the whole trip. Didn't see another RX7 of any kind on the trip, RX7's must be getting scarce.

Awesome car!
