jackson, and an interesting thing the judge said at the arraignment that the cop marked the box on the ticket for local ordinance, but wrote down a state ordinance.
I had to paint my yello RX-3 as I got banned from LA's Griffith Park and LA Zoo. Park Rangers hate me for doing burn outs...I told them it was my clutch but they didnt buy it since I used that excuse many times.

This sounds clean cut to me. Unless you consented to a search you have the officers ***** in a vice there. what is he going to say was the probable cause? the guy was being a dick to me? thats not probable cause.
if the cop didnt see you do the action personally he would need an EYE witness someone who saw you doing this action other wise hell it could of not been you.
you don't even need a lawyer for this one. but if you want to have some more back up goto http://www.prepaidlegal.com/ for $17 a mouth they will even be on call for you. you get free legal advice free wills etc. its a great service.
i am not signed up with them yet but i am going to be soon. its far too cheap not to have this kind of insurance. think about this. you get pulled over. you hand the officer your information then you say i am going to call my lawyer as soon as he starts asking questions. that alone will probably get you out of trouble let alone the fact that they will tell you exactly what to say.
personally i am sick of people being a victim of *** hole police i refuse to be a victim.
a friend of mine is about to go through the process of divorce he signed up with them on the spot and they are providing legal advice for him right now.
ETA: Most cops i know are great guys but i hear about power tripping cops far too often this sounds like one to me

I'm too new to site to post new threads, but somebody else should - might be kind of funny!
Here's mine -- Back in the 80's when I was younger and dumber (?) and before DWI laws were such a big deal, me and a coupla buddies were at the beach in OC, Maryland. We'd just closed up a bar at 2AM and didn't get lucky at picking up any ladies. On the way home, 4 honeys were waiting for a bus on Coastal Hwy and waving. I stopped and talked, gave them a ride all in my 79 rx7. 2 were sitting on the sunroof ledge, one in the back with my buddy and the last in my buddy's lap in the passenger seat. Even though I must have been traveling at about 10MPH for about 3 miles, I was bottoming out at every dip! A cop finally pulled us over, and gave me a tkt for 'negligent driving' at a cost of $200 (which we guys split later). That was a lot of bread back in the day for us! Astonishly enough he said we could continue on if everbody remained within the confines of the car! What happened to seatbelt laws back then? There were'nt any just as you practically had to be passed out before a DWI was written. Gimme those days again when we had a little more sense about how to drive under the influence! Needless to say it was a memorable night then and later too.
