May borrow a camera in a few. It is starting to snow here, but I doubt it will get that bad!

Hey ray, make a mohawk out of it and see how far it will make it to wok

Not going to work tomorrow Stu, only a damn red neck would be out on 85 tomorrow morning.

Here's another one, from out my kitchen window

Dave the goats are fine, they hang out in the goat house down there, drinking beer

Yeah, March first, the 3rd day of my friend's spring break, and he and I had a snow ball fight. How many people get to say they had a snowball fight over their spring break?

we will have snow when i'm moving out of my apartment in May. It's currently -9, -22 with windchill. We've gotten 237" so far this winter as of 2/27/09, and have 35" on the ground. The county north of me has gotten 254.7" of snow this winter, and has 27" on the ground.

^I know, I was just giving you guys a hard time about getting some snow. I'm jealous that you get to enjoy your 7's *almost* year round. A girl that I know that goes to Alabama thought that they were having a blizzard when they received 3" of snow. I was flabbergasted. Current temp: -18 without the wind.

Michigan, you got to love it. But I hear it's nice in July, right?

Bright sun this morning and 7 inches of snow on the ground that looks like it might stick around awhile. First time we've had snow on the ground in Jefferson in 4 or 5 years and I don't ever remember this much.

Like Stu says, it doesn't snow much down this way. And the White One is a year around daily driver, I'll go out and shovel her off today, take a few more pics.

Yeah i dont want to know about your snow woes ray lol. When it snows here its 7-12 at a crack three times a week.

Ray di you live next to a ravine or something? either the goats are clacking there heals or are those rocks falling? suppose it could be tree branches cracking. That **** is wet as hell and heavy.

Those are the tree branches cracking Ben, those trees haven't seen snow like this in years and are due for a little bit of Nature's pruning.

So, back to the 7, The White One Started Again!

Come on you folks up in Michigan and Canada, let's see your cold starts!

It's cool today but the snow is melting fast anyway, supposed to be back in the '70's later this week.

Yeah Ohio is for cold lovers, for sure.

Yeah, we got a good bit yesterday. It was really wet though cause it rained so much beforehand. The dogs loved it and Kim and I had a snow ball fight. Luckily the college is cloed today so I can work on my engineering and Hamlet's papers I have due.

Here is a video a girl from my apartment complex made of her dog and mine running around in the snow:

It's beautiful for May-October. Warmest it gets is about 85. Very few bugs. Not many thunderstorms. The lake water is a bit chilly to get in, but once you're in, it's nice. Plus, no potholes outside of town to deal with, just miles of winding, rolling pavement.

Here are my normal roads.

Wacky I saw on Craiglist that some guy in Athens has a post for free snow, he has 10 acres of it but I think it might be local pick up only.

Here's the ad if you want to contact him:

http://athensga.craigslist.org/zip/1056902029.html

The snow is still here but the weather report just said we'll be in the upper 70's by the weekend. All this without earthquakes and fires!

Donnie I can't see the vid, I guess you need to belong to facebook (I don't). Can you post on youtube or someplace?

Jim that looks like a nice corner of Michigan to cruise around in. I have a friend who lives in Mount Pleasant who vacations and canoes up there, says it's really beautiful.

Ben your car starts because she is USED to -10 degrees! It's quite a shock for our southern bells to be covered wth snow and turned over when the temperature is below freezing.

Mount Pleasant huh? I have a few friends that go to Central Michigan, which is in Mount Pleasant. Houghton is a great place to live. Unfortunately, there are no jobs whatsoever, which means i'm moving in May when I graduate. Oh well, that means that I can auto-x and track my car all summer. Good luck with the snow.

Bob's a professor at Central Mich, in nutrition. I sure wonder why they call that place Mount Pleasant, it's flatter than the economy. Does Houghton have some bumps?

Snow got the best of me this morning, I forgot to brush it off yesterday when it was melting and this morning it was frozen as big blocks of ice to the glass and wipers. Took me an hour to get it off. I'm reminded of what it was like living in Massachusetts.

So anybody got any more cold start videos?
