to make the stock headlight go up halfway (if this is what you are looking for) is really easy. ill do a quick right up for you
Supplies:
about 2ft of wire (any wire, i used an old extension cord and cut it)
2 male connectors
2 female connectors
1 simple push button switch
THATS IT
1) take off the shifter surround and radio panel (really easy just 4 or 5 screws)
2) Unplug and pull out the switch in the radio panel that controls the headlight motors (note this isnt the switch on the steering column)
3) There are four wires coming off of the switch, cut the red (power) wire between the switch and the plug
4) with the wire cut, put a male connector on one side, and a female on the other. This enables you to put everything back to stock if you wish
5) cut the 2 ft wire in half
6) take one of the 1 ft wire sections and put a male connector on one end.
7) hook the other side up to your push button
8) take the other 1 ft wire section and put a female connector on one end, and hook the other end up the the remaining tab on the push button
9) hook the female side from your newly made switch to the male side of the original switch, and the male side of your newly made switch to the female side of the original switch.
10) put the radio panel and shift surround back together
when you flip the original headlight switch to up, nothing happens. But when you push your push button with the switch up, the headlights only go up a little bit. you push the button progressively until they are at the height you want. This doesnt disrupt anything stock, when you flip the switch off, the lights go down. And when you us the steering column switch to turn the headlights on, they go to the full up position with the lights on. Ill draw a diagram on paint and post it in another reply.

They never die! XD what is up with these threads always popping up?
Ah well, w/e...
Why do you want the "sleepy eye" look? Just for kicks? Cuz you could probably just make a lower set of lights so that you can actually use them at night!
And before anyone asks me on the progress of my light kit, lets worry about getting my car back together first. :P

i'll have to be the second to say i'm not too fancy on the, "lazy eye look" on the FBs, but that's just my weird opinion...we used to just unplug the male connector that gives the signals to bring the lights up on the Z cars ('84-89) and because the light wasn't covered when it was down, and had a little U shape front bumper cover around the headlight area you could leave'em down at night with of course the side effect of less visibility...
