Should i buy this FB?
Found this car on the side of a former highway with $2200 written on the windshield.
I went to go have a look at it today and it runs pretty well the body is in good condition and everything but there is a problem.
As far as I can tell it is leaking oil from the front rotor housing.
I'm still interested in the car but I'm wondering if this is going to be a money pit or not and any other problems there might be due to this leak.
I did manage to take some photos while i was there which i will post.
Edit:Forgot to mention car has 150'000 kms and vin checks out, plenty of service records, clean title, no accidents
any help would be greatly appreciated.
And the dreaded oil leak...

If you buy this car your going to need money to make things right with the car. If you don't have money to do this your wasting your time and money.
If your wanting someone to tell you what it will need you may want to post this in the technical section. This is the non tech. Car looks worth fixing.

Yeah, when I bought my '81 it didn't look like it needed much but it's been a pretty steady stream of repairs. Neglect and age is a terrible thing.
That said, the car looks great and the engine bay is pretty clean except for the oil leak.
That leak can only be fixed by an engine teardown, but good used engines are still out there and a rebuild is possible. It all depends what you're prepared to get yourself into.
