rotary in a geo metro?

Just a little food for thought.

But what do you guys think if someone did a motor swap with a 12A motor or a 13B swap into an geo metro think it would pretty damn quick since they are so small what do you think a turbo swap would be like ported running 15psi boost?

Think you could daily drive it on the streets revving at all the big cars as you zip by in it?

Sure if you like driving a poorly made POS, ugly car. Why bother?

I would be ok with it if there was rotary inside and a boosted one at that I mean converting it and making room for motor turbo would take a lot of time but hey you would be fast and unstable.

My mother owned an Isetta, and always spoke well of it. Got rid of it before I was born, though.

if you feel up to the task, why not build it? a whole lot of re-engineering beyond getting the engine in and running, and there's plenty of better choices (in my opinion), but it's your choice and your dime.

turbo? no.
daily drive? probably not.

I would not attempt this myself unless I had that kind of time and $$$$$$ to spend freely but the fact I'm gonna make a budget build this winter is already making me broke. Maybe someday when I'm famous for being famous you know.

Dont knock the metro till you own one.... BAD *** cars if you use them for what they were designed for... Doing errends and delivering chinese food. Its a BLAST to drive cause you feel you might roll over at any given moment.

Youll be real dissapointed if you put a rotary in a metro chasis. Bubblyiest suspension on the planet. and with all the structural suport needed to keep the body from tearing itself apart and tires/transmission; youll weigh as much as a first gen RX7.

Funny thing is this swap would be an INCREASE in displacement.

Not a metro, but there is a geo tracker on the hilton head Craigslist with a 12A in it.
