Scored a nice piece today..
I came across an ad of a guy selling a spoiler from his FB locally. I went to take a peek at it, and instantly couldnt help but hand him the money for it. Its in GREAT shape. Needs a bit of paint works, but theres no chips in the fiber glass or major cracks. Its 5" tall and a three piece. I'm not sure if its the OEM option spoiler or what, but it was too good to pass up. I'm unsure if I'm going to go through the hassle of mounting it/having it mounted yet or not or if i'll just sell it at this point. Either way, SCORE!

I'm not real keen on drilling holes in my car =( All the damage is just gel coat, so I plan to at the very least make it look like new whether i keep it or not

I know right. Its the beauty of MN. Few people have any idea what they have. A buddy of mine scored a factory mazda rebuilt small bearing LSD for $20

Haha I was texting that guy about that part last night!!! I'm glad a fellow forum member got it, I knew it was worth something. Hey, since you were there, did you get to look at the exhaust he's selling?? I'm only interested in the header, not the rest. I would like to run an uncollected header in my FB, and what was your opinion if you saw it?
Thanks,
Austin

The car had an engine bay fire, so the end of the header is a bit scorched. Not damaged but its blackened a bit. Other than that it looked ok. The whole exhaust had some surface rust on it

Awesome, thanks for the info! I'll try to hit him up again and see if he'll sell it. Congrats on the spoiler. If he would have been closer to me I would have picked it up last night or tonight. If you ever want to sell it I'll be interested
That's a factory Mazda 3 piece wing. I have two of them, brand new in box, never installed.
They are very rare, especially if never painted/installed.
Nice find. It should be at least $200 and up for that piece.
(I wouldn't sell mine for $300).

Are there three factory wing options? Mine starts at thr b pillar but ive seen some that only reach about half as far and of course the rubber/foam
I thought there were only 2 factory ones, the 3 piece IMSA one that we got here, and the foam/rubber one that the UK/Europe cars got.
I thought all the rest were aftermarket from back in the day...

Regretting not going and picking this up more and more. I had the guy down to $50 too but it was just too damn far away. Ah well, live and learn I guess. I'm glad it went to another member and that you know what it's worth. Nice find and good luck with it Funk, maybe I'll get to see it installed this summer at a Sonic meet
