Score of the month!

I picked up a set of 4 15x7 4x110 Diamond racing steel wheels today (4.5" back space) and a brand new CP Racing strut bar for $50. The guy is also going to give me 2 seats and a S2 dashboard (possibly un-cracked) when he gets them out of the rafters of his garage. When I can source a camera (mine went through the washing machine) I will post pictures.

Make sure you test fit that CP Racing bar on an actual car before you sell it. I used to have one of the old CP Racing triangulated strut bars on my 85 GS. I had to cut the plates off the bar and re-weld them because they were so far off. It was a pretty good strut bar after I reworked it. CP Racing had some serious issues with their quality control though. Probably they reason they are defunct now. Just a heads up on the fitment to help you avoid any potential headaches.

Nice score on the wheels BTW! That's a heck of a price!

The strut tower bar would not clear the distributor on his 302-swapped FB. I will test it on my EUDM SA22C to make sure that it fits.

That's the reason why I bought the wheels, they were a damn good price, and I didn't have to drive to get them or ship them. The guy that was selling them is a mechanic at the shop my parents have been taking their vehicles to since 1995.

Wow, I could've sworn I just saw Hammy!? Must be halucinating (again)...

Whitey, you didn't tell me that you were selling the strut bar... Are you in Kzoo right now, or up in the Great White North?

I'm in Ann Arbor. It hit the boards and someone already jumped on it. I was shocked at how fast it went.

Yeah, I'm rearing my ugly head around here again. No car right now, but I'm saving and looking. As soon as I come across that great deal I've been waiting on it's going to be in my garage. I traded Rosie for a '91 300 ZX Twin Turbo, which unfortunately blew up on the way home. I quickly realized I didn't have the money to fix it. Turbo cars are way too expensive. I then acquired a 1973 Beetle, which was interesting but not for me. Too much of an antiquated death trap. Sold it a couple of weeks ago. So I've kinda been spinning my wheels the last year or so. Decided enough was enough, that I was coming back where I belong. I'm looking for a low mileage GSL or GSL-SE. I'm going to be on here being a nuissance until then.

If you're looking for an oddity, I have a EUDM import SA22c (circa 1982) that I am trying to unload. As of right now the price is $750. It is 95% complete (needs oil filter mount, oil cooler, radiator, various lines and whatnot, and a new drivers rear wheel bearing). If you're interested, shoot me an offer.

There is the link.
