SA vs FC
i found this the other day. look at the lap times! the FC is badass, but the SA is faster...
i don't know anything about the SA. the FC was built by revolution, later it ended up in okinawa, and basically destroyed.

Old [Sch|F]ool
The 1st-gen looked buttoned down, the FC looked like he was riding a snake.
Dorifto Machine indeed.
I swear I've seen that video before, or at least I've seen those two cars before. I remember a 470ps FC and a 320ps 1st-gen that was rolling on absurdly huge tires (205/60-15? Really? They couldn't find tires that fit?) but I remember there before more discussion around the cars. IIRC the 1st-gen is just a bridge port.
Neat thing. Mazda Motorsports lists pre bridge ported "GT3" side housings, cheap.
(in before the OMG THATS AN FB NOT AN SA LOLOLOL)

In Japan, there are no FB's...
It's a beautiful thing watching that first-gen glued down on the corners; like a cat on **** carpet. Exellent turn coordination. Point there, go there.
The FC was all over the place, and watching the driver's (huge) steering inputs, he was having a hell of time holding it down on exits - - looked like he was having to throw serious counter-steer in to get straight again. Either the throttle response was too abrupt to feather well, or the suspension was binding (noticeable body roll)... or the tires couldn't hold.
Both sounded nice and evil, though.
