Just posted on Craig's List in Pittsburgh is an SA parts car with the gold waffle wheels that appear in good shape. The car also has plaid seats in red. The location listed is Vernon, Ohio. Happy parts hunting.

Aftermarket rims, though the seats would grab some people's attention. A 79 from the looks of it. Lots of decent interior parts on there.

 

probably mount vernon ohio... which about an hour and a half south of me. i wouldn't want just parts, i'd want the whole car..

There is a Solar Gold SA here in Ann Arbor that is completely clapped out. The owner wants $650 for it. I told him that it wasn't worth $200. He won't budge.

My eyes are not as young as they use to be and that one has the speaker over the close box which is tougher to find and what is correct for my car.

dayum looks like an ealier I am betting 52xxxx 53xxxx as it has the speaker grill in dash and no passenger mirror I'd bet it also has the right side prop rod.

With that said I am betting under the hood is a mess and poor car has some rot issues. Look like someone loved it at some point thou

ok guys, i bought the wheels from this guy and am going to pull the dash for 13x. The radio surround looked to be in perfect condition. there are a lot of good parts on this car. I forget the mileage and am unsure if it will turn over or not. Is there anything anyone else wants me to look at while im pulling the dash? There are a lot of good usable parts for this thing!

I'd like the emissions harness and the radio sub harness if theyre intact. Need the turn signal lenses and If 16x's friend decides against the rats nest I'll take that too.

ok. the spare is there, its a waffle wheel, but im unsure of the tire. It was an origional owner car (sad to see it like it is) but i will check on that. when you say emissions harnesss, you mean the harness that plugs into all the solenoids right? I can get that and the radio sub harness (the one that runs down the middle of the car?) do you want the front or rear turnsignal lenses? You guys need to give me the most you would pay for these items so when I go there and ask him what he wants i can say yes or no. I'd hate to buy parts I cant even use if you guys can, text me at 7248546033 and let me know what you want and for what price. Ill try to get everything as cheap as possible, and he already said the more I buy at once the better the pricing. He wont come down any on the dash though, i tried

 

No problem I already paypal'd the money for the dash. I beleive my other guy is looking at solenoids not sure if duff is looking for them or the harness.

I could use a right rear tail light depending on price and condition.

its a pretty early car, right side prop not that i know anything about sa's though lol im pretty sure if i remember right, the tail lights were in pretty darn good shape too. I can let you know when i get there, still not sure when that will b though..

 

PM sent. I forgot to mention that I could use the connecting pipe from the thermal reactor to the the mid section of the exhaust. It's where the cats would be if SAs had them. It'll require ya getting under the car so name your price on that one.

 

I'm glad this seems to be working out for everyone even though I'm pretty sure there's no finder's fee. However, some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me....
